My career took me into teaching in 2007 and I spent almost 10 years working as national education manager for French spa brand Sothys. As an educator for over 9 years and a therapist for over 14 years, I have seen many changes within both sectors in this time. One of the main changes I have seen which incorporate both education and beauty is the increase of advanced courses available as well as the further education courses that have hit our industry, which is amazing and much needed.
I began my career at college and gained a NVQ level 3 in Beauty Therapy, after many years working in a salon and spa I wanted to learn more about this amazing industry so I made the decision to go into further education and after 3 years I gained a BSc in Cosmetic Science (Beauty Science).
